Add me to the list. Goes by Joseph Landeros now.

J & R Renovation & Construction 972302****. Wanted half down on a project (stupidly I gave it to him). The first day his "worker" shows up 3 hours late, works for about 3.5 hours and then leaves. The job was never finished.

I called "Joe" back and he said he would get someone out there later. Never showed. Said they would be out the next day at 8am. Never showed.

Said he was working to get someone out there that day. After not hearing back from him in over two hours, I called and cancelled the work. He said he would refund me the deposit minus one day work. For three days he stringed me along, saying he would "bring the money by" at this time.

Never showed. Stopped answering my calls and texts. I called him on another phone and he picked up right away. Always the same excuse "I'm out of state, out of town, etc.".

When I finally told him I was going to file theft charges on him, instead of trying to reconcile the situation, he goes into "excuse" mode.

He said since he had someone out at my place and since he tried to get someone else out there BEFORE I cancelled, it wasn't theft. Never offered to refund again.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $900.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Js Construction Cons: Any of it, Scam.

1) Please file a "CRIMINAL" (not a "civil" one) police report in the city in which the theft happened.

2) Then contact

Guy Helms

Detective-Financial Crimes

Rowlett Police Department 4401 Rowlett Rd. Rowlett, Texas 75088 Desk-972-412-**** Fax- 972-412-**** Detective Helms knows this Prado guy all too well.

They have indicted him and Prado has warrants for his arrest in Denton, Lewisville, Tarrant, and Dallas county. That means that he's a wanted man and is an on-the-run fugitive!
